"A Child Called 'It'"

One child's story of survival, "A Child Called 'It'" takes you through Dave Pelzer's abuse by his alcoholic mother up to the day he enters the foster care system in 1973. Part one in a series of books about his life; "A Child Called 'It'" is well worth the read - although a difficult read as the abuse is unreal in its severity. I agree with u the book should be read all the way around the world cuz its that good i cryed when i read the book i hate seeing, hearing, or reading about child abuse
This book grabs you in and dosent let you go. You;ll almost feel exactly what the little boy feels. I read 2 of the books in one night cuz i couldn’t make myself step away from what i was seeing and feeling through the book.
I completely agree with you both, this book is haunting. Dave brings you right into his home and the abusive hell he endured as a child.
I too read it in just one day….then moved on to the next book. I still gag when I think about some of the things his mother did to him.
I love this book and i think every child and adult would enjoy this
im am so sad u know my mom even told mi to stop when i usually never read
I thnk this is an awful story, but i think it gives people the courage to stand up in what they believe in.
have any of you read a Brother’s Journey?well i dont want to read it b/kuz it is about richard the brother that abused Dave.I think that that was horrible 2 do 2 ur own brother=[ that is a sad face! =[
THE BOOK IS SO SAD
