On-line Tools Seem to Bring Greater Satisfaction to Foster and Adoptive Parents

Monday December 11, 2006
According to a report from Casey Family Programs it seems that Alaska’s foster and adoptive parents are reporting higher satisfaction after using the assessment tools available through Casey Family Programs. These tools have been implemented by workers and supervisors since the end of January. These on-line tools are free and designed to help foster parent applicants self-report on their strengths and training needs in several areas such as foster child development, caring for challenging children, and co-parenting. The program utilized surveys and feedback to discover the usefulness of the on-line tools. Find the tools at www.fosterfamilyassessments.org
