Statistics on Foster Care and Adoption in the U.S. 2001 - 2005

I've been thinking about our past foster children and the length of time they were in our home. The times vary drastically. For example "W" was with us for 18 months while "E" & "P" were with us for only 9 months. How does this stack up with the rest of the country?
