I Can't Believe I Missed it!
OK, I'm totally irritated with myself. I've been so wrapped up in the fact that I'm behind in wrapping up gifts that I forgot to look for The 10th Annual A Home for the Holidays With Faith Hill! It aired tonight on CBS, and I got to it at the very end when Faith Hill was singing Joy to the World.
From reports I learned that since this was the 10th year anniversary, the show featured foster children that were highlighted on previous A Home for the Holidays specials over the past 10 years with their new adoptive families. That sounds like tear jerking moments! I love those.
The purpose of this special is to continue to raise awareness of the 129,000 children in foster care who need adoptive homes.

I didn’t get to watch it either but wish I had. It’s not there yet but if we keep an eye on CBS.com they may put it online to watch. You just click the “video” tab at the top and then go do the left side and see which specials they have available.
