Thrifty Thursday: Homemade Mother and Birth Mother Day Gifts
Finding that perfect gift for mom can be a difficult task. My mother collected angels, so buying for her was easy as she always loved adding to her collection, which grew to about 1000 angels. In fact, this year I'm planning something special for my half of the inherited angel collection.
Not all moms have a collection or hobby, so finding that perfect gift for mom may be a bit more difficult and with today's economy, one may not have the finances to buy a gift for mom. Adult adoptees in reunion may have an even more difficult time shopping. Maybe the adoption reunion is new and the relationships have not been clearly defined. Maybe it is a new relationship and the adoptee doesn’t know what birth mom likes yet. Maybe there are loyalty issues to adoptive mom and the adoptee fears hurting feelings.
