Will a New Pro-life / Pro-adoption Ad Run During American Idol?

Follow me on:

According to recent news reports a new ad was given "initial acceptance" to run on the last episode of American Idol. CatholicVote.org produced the ad which will list famous people, such as Nelson Mandela, Babe Ruth, Bill Clinton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Sarah McLachlan, who were all adopted (some were step adoptions). It's a part of the "Imagine the Potential" series.

A similar ad was produced for the 2009 Super Bowl, but was later rejected by NBC officials due to the ad's depiction of a political candidate or issue. The ad ran on Black Entertainment Television during the January 21 coverage of President Barack Obama's inauguration.

We'll see if the Fox Network will go from "initial acceptance" to air time with this ad.

Thanks for the link to the article. What an incredible pro-life ad to make people “Imagine The Potential” of unborn children and their possible effect on the world. I can’t imagine the world if these people had been aborted instead of adopted.
