Twitter is twittering along with a lot of coverage on the new movie, Orphan and most are finding it to be an extremely scary flick and worth the admission price. I also noticed that very few movie goers are making comments on never wanting to adopt a child based on the movie.
Many in the adoption community were concerned about Orphan continuing the negative stereotype of older child adoptions and adoptions from Eastern Europe. The movie's tag line was even edited out of trailer due to the heat the production company received from the adoption community.
I have not seen the movie, I'll wait for it to come out all nice and edited for TV, but I have learned Ester's secret through a quick Google search and I think that the plot twist will quiet some of those worries.
