While I'm completely jazzed about seeing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer on CBS this Saturday, I will also be recording the next 48 Hours Mystery which is also on CBS. "The Lost Children," will run this Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and will explore the Utah based, Focus on Children adoption agency started by Scott and Karen Banks. The special investigation is the end result of 2-years worth of work into this agency's background and motivations and follows 3 adoptive families and the children they thought were Samoan orphans. In reality, the biological parents were promised that their children would be educated in a sort of foster care situation that included regular contact and returned home at age 18. Anchored by Maureen Maher, also an adoptee, this promises to be an interesting program as the adoptive families must decide which is better for their children - to return to their biological families or stay with their adoptive families.
I look forward to hearing what you thought about this program! Remember: CBS 48 Hours Mystery "The Lost Children," Saturday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT 9 p.m Central.
