As I was writing my last blog, the world of Russian adoption changed - again.
"Spokesman Andrei Nesterenko said during a briefing that new adoptions by Americans are on hold pending a visit in the next few days by a U.S. delegation to reach an accord on future placement of Russian children."
It seems those prospective adoptive parents will be waiting to see how the meeting set to be held on April 20th will play out. The lives of children and numerous families hang in the balance. I know we all hope that a clear decision is made for the benefit of all those involved and for the best interest of the children.

sorry but this is incorrect info. Our Russian adoption is moving forward so far…who knows what will happen AFTER these meetings.
Any news on the Russian delegation meeting today between Russia and the U.S.?

It is correct information at the time of posting, taken directly from the State Department website. Adoptions in progress will proceed, slowly…. new ones have been halted until after the meeting. Which was today – have not seen any official updates yet.
