A great on-line handbook that explains foster care including the different levels of foster care.
The Foster Family Initiative was developed through a partnership between DHR, The First Lady’s Children’s Cabinet and the Children and Youth Coordinating Council (CYCC). It is a new program that is designed to help the right families continue with fostering, and that kids are placed in a foster home that is best suited for them.
