Basic Requirements :
Must be 18 years old. Be in good physical and mental health.
Couples have to be together for 24 months.
Sufficient income to support themselves without foster care payments.
Able to discipline children positively.
Provide four references regarding their ability to care for children.
Have no child protective services involvement or a criminal record.
Be willing to attend orientation and preparation programs.
