A fun baby shower game that the Pregnancy Guide recommends is the Baby Shower Word Scramble, but by taking a bit of creative license and adding in adoption themed words, we can re-create an appropriate adoption baby shower game. So, choose 10 or so words related to babies, toddlers, or adoption and scramble the letters. Photocopy the scrambled words on a sheet of paper for each adoption baby shower guest. Give a time limit of about 5 minutes for each person to try to unscramble the words.
Below I have already pre-selected and pre-scrambled several words. Note: Some words have to do with international adoption, so choose words that are appropriate to the adoption of your friend or family member.
Remember, it's important to avoid references to pregnancy, labor or birth when planning an adoption baby shower.
