March started off with the news of another celebrity adoption - yes, Angelina Jolie. There was talk about a fast-tracked adoption, which the adoption agency denied, and many blogged about the situation. It was a week later, however, when we got the news that she was in Vietnam picking up little Pax and finishing up the adoption. My how time flies!
- Anna Mae He had her first visit with her biological parents. The first of many that would start the reunification back home with her family of origin.
- The State Department stopped recommending Guatemalan adoptions and outlined the various issues and concerns with Guatemala.
- A report from MSNBC, stated that there is overuse and poor record-keeping of foster children on psychiatric drugs. Many agreed.
- Texas talked about paying women $500 to choose adoption over abortion. Many cried "baby buying" and "coercion."
