- Adoptions from Russia hit a snag as adoption agencies' licenses expire. Many worried about the delays.
- Casey Family Programs and the National Education Association, announced that the No Child Left Behind Act is being reformed to accommodate children in foster care. Part of the reforms mentioned is providing transportation when possible to maintain a child's school of origin. Education is so vital to the well-being of a child and it shows in the stats provided in the press release - 55% will drop out and 10% will be incarcerated.
