I was worried at first about the quality and look of the pendant. I was also hesitant about the suede cord. I couldn't visualize how it would clasp. Upon receiving my demo copy I was immediately impressed by the product.
The PendantSimple detail makes this piece beautiful. The three hearts representing the three different hearts involved in an adoption; birthmother, adoptive mother, and child are intertwined with a ribbon. The pendant is of a sturdy weight and hangs nicely when warn.
The CordThe ends of the suede cord are clamped tightly with a silver metal piece with links of a chain on one end while the other end is crimped with a clasp. This allows the wearer to select the length of the necklace by choosing different links in the chain to hook with the clasp. She could choose to wear it as a choker or a slightly longer piece. I received the black suede cord and it really set off the silver pendant nicely.
I would choose this as a gift for someone, but I might be tempted to keep it for myself!
