Biography:
My wife and I are the parents of a beautiful daughter from China. She became part of our family on 10/19/03 (Gotcha Day). We started the process early in 2002, were DTC on 9/16/02. I wrote my first poem (in over 30 years) approx. nine months to the day that Sarah was born. I just started writing poetry about adopting. We live in Michigan and used Bethany Christian Services as our agency. We are members of Families With Children From China-Metro Detroit. Sarah will be two years old on 12/22/04.
The Fishers are in the process of adopting daughter number two. They are currently waiting for a referral.
