- The month began on October 1st which is also National Reg Day for the International Soundex Reunion Registry(ISRR). The ISRR is a wonderful search tool assisting in hundred of reunions.
- Amy Grant continued to grant wishes on the show "Three Wishes" including the wish of one adoptee to not only sing with Amy Grant on stage but to meet her birth mother. Twice Granted!
- We also learned that adoption is much easier through eBay as Chinese babies are found listed on Eachnet, the Chinese version of eBay. Though thought to be a hoax, many wondered about the depth of the black market problem in China.
