2006 - A Year in Review

• December brought us more research with a report from Casey Family Programs reporting that Alaska’s foster and adoptive parents seemed more satisfied after using the assessment tools available through Casey Family Programs.

• CBS presented The 8th Annual A Home for the Holidays with Rod Stewart which highlighted adoptive families and children residing in foster care who are in need of adoption. It was a tear jerking, hour long program.

• Changes were announced to Chinese adoptions that will restrict adoptive parents beginning in May 2007. So, if you have a weight problem or a "severe facial deformity" you need not apply. WOW!
