Angels were one of my mother's favorite things. She loved them for their beauty, and for what they are--guardians. Angels are loving, kind, and show selflessness in their acts. There are many angels within the adoption community. Some of them are called Search Angels.

An Adoption Search Angel volunteers their time and talents to help families touched by adoption. They seek answers for a birth mother or an adoptee reaching out to birth parents. Adoption Search Angels can help a birth/first mom locate an old yearbook so that she can see the child she placed for adoption for the first time in years. Search Angels explore registries trying to help an adoptee find answers and roots. Searches Angels are people just like you. People who want to give a little peace to families with questions.
