- I often wonder about that boy who was removed from his adoptive parent's home by the law and returned to his birth mother. It was all over the news about 15 years ago or so? Heart-wrenching.

Gay male friend adopts two boys
- A gay male friend of mine adopted two little boys this year, and he and his partner love them very much. I was so touched by their story that I dedicated my latest book, Along Came Two, to them.
