The 9th Annual A Home for the Holidays
Keep an eye out for The 9th Annual A Home for the Holidays! It will air on CBS, Friday December 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and will highlight families who have adopted from the foster care system. The program will feature singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow, popular vocalist James Blunt, pop and R&B star Fergie, sister pop singers Karmina, Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriting legend Carole King and Grammy and ACM Award-winning country superstar Reba McEntire. Celebrities, such as David Krumholtz (NUMB3RS), comedian George Lopez and Rene Russo (Yours, Mine and Ours), will be presenting inspirational stories (pre-taped segments) about adoption and adoptive families.
Sheryl Crow has been reported as being especially excited this year to be a part of the program as she became a new adoptive mother this past May to 7-month-old Wyatt.
CBS is teaming up with the Children’s Action Network and The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to help find the over 100,000 foster children who are freed for adoption, adoptive homes. Again, the special will air Friday, December 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.
So, tune in and then come back here and tell us what you thought of the special.

Adopted child gives Sheryl something to crow about - Jamaica Gleaner News

I attended the event a few years ago and loved it. I am an adoptive parent of 2 little boys so I am so in favor of
these kinds of shows.
I have tried for the past 2 years to get
tickets to this event once again, but I
have been unable to. If you have any
information on how to go about attending
this event, I am very interested.
Thank you and good work,
Deborah Medina
