Requirements for Completing a Massachusetts Adoption :
- You can be married or single, from any religious, economic, or ethnic background.
- You can be a homeowner or renter, with or without children.
- You must be 18 years old.
- Prospective adoptive parents are asked to attend a parent training course known as, "Massachusetts Approach to Partnerships in Parenting" (MAPP).
