Basic Requirements :
To become a foster parent you must complete an application that requests information about you and your family.
A criminal records check and a check of the NH Central Registry of Child Abusers will be conducted for each member of your household who is age 17 and older.
Additionally, local or state fire and health inspectors will conduct inspections of your home.
Must complete a 21-hour course entitled Foundations for Fostering.
