Still Silent
Estranged is he for he cannot see
The Sister in me
No bonds that bind within
Never knowing from which he came
A family that is the same
So far away will he stay be a stray from her
For she will always be
What you could not see
In dealing with this past
knowing it would never last
So come forth and release
this blood that binds
before death door escapes
the sibling of yours
Written by Marycaroline Benso about her oldest birth brother who would write to her and speak to her on the phone when she first found him but will not speak to her any more and she doesn't know why.
