Journal Questions for Kids Who Were Adopted or Currently in Foster Care

By

The following are journal questions to help foster children or adopted children express their feelings and memories in writing. Great for lifebook work as well. Encourage the kids to not only answer the questions but to write more and to get into their feelings and thoughts.

If the child is too young to write, use the questions to spark a work of art instead.

A journal for children may also be a neat way to communicate with a child that is struggling to share feelings.

IDEA - Print these questions out and have the child re-answer them every year. It may be interesting to see how they grow and change emotionally.
