Make a Copy of Your Foster or Adotped Child's Lifebook

By , About.com Guide

It's important to make a copy of your foster or adopted child's lifebook for several reasons.

  • A much loved lifebook will be toted around by little ones, and may get messy or destroyed.
  • A child may feel a lot of anger and resentment about what has happened to them and rip up their lifebook.
  • A child may lose their lifebook during a move from foster home to foster home or to a new adoptive home.

By taking the lifebook in to a copy center and getting it copied, or by storing a digital version on a disk you will be a part in preserving the child's life story and lifebook.
