My Family's Adoption Story
We were already blessed with three healthy daughters, and were thinking about trying again to have a boy. Prior to being married, during engagement, we had agreed that we would adopt if we were unable to have children. I brought up that old discussion, and come to find out, my wife had been pondering the same thought. Why not adopt a boy! That way we know for sure that it will be a boy, and at the same time, we would be helping a child in need. We later weighed the pros/cons of international adoption vs. adoption through foster care. We ended up adopting a boy, and later adopted his sister when she became free for adoption.

Advice
- The process doesn't happen overnight.
- Try to be patient, but call every so often, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
- There will be ups and downs, but hang in there, it's worth it!
