So, it's been a long day and you really need a helping hand or an understanding ear or a 3 pound bag of M&M's. What is your favorite source of parent support?
While many lean on family and friends, others believe in a good therapist. Share what has worked for you and your foster or adoptive family.

Good Books
- Other than from my husband and family, my greatest support as a parent is from good parenting books. I love the "Love and Logic" books and "How to talk so your kids will listen..." I glean little things that help me be a stronger parent and reduce the negative tones of voice and contention in our home. I also love a good book when I just need to unwind, or when my kids need to unwind. Nothing calms my kids down, even the 2yo, better than sitting down with a good book.
